Altro Transformers commenced its manufacturing operations during 1982 as a specialist in the design and manufacture of:

• Power Supplies
• Reactors
• DC Rectification Equipment

Our workshop is situated in the heart of Campbellfield, Victoria with over 30 team members looking after all types of transformer requirements.  The In house design and development facilities employ the latest CAD/CAM 3D design and modelling systems to provide superior quality products and  short lead times in a cost effective manner.

Altro Transformers is synonymous with high quality and finish.  Our range is comprised of the standard group of products as well as custom designed products for all types of one off applications right through to high volume OEM requirements.  Over the years, our product range has diversified to include:

• Control Transformers (10VA – 10kVA)
• 3 Phase Isolation Transformers (100VA – 1,000kVA)
• Auto Transformers (1 & 3 Phase 1,000Va – 1,000kVA)
• Power and Distribution Transformers (up to 5mVA: Oil Immersed, Dry Type and Cast Resin)
• Explosion Proof Mining Transformers (Dry Type 6.6kV/11kV ~ 1,000V & 100kVA ~ 4,000kVA)
• DC Power Supplies (1 & 3 Phase Raw DC, Filtered and Regulated)
• DC Rectifications Units (1 & 3 Phase, Fixed Voltage and SCR Controlled Types up to 20kA)
• Reactors, Inductors, Chokes (PFC Reactors, 3 Phase AC Line Reactors, DC Link Chokes)
• Metal Fabrication of Enclosures (indoor, outdoor, switchboard and transformer cubicles)
